my first week

well my first week of work is in and done. it wasn't as bad as i thought. it's a nice break from my usual pace of being a mom. I miss Cameron like crazy while I'm at work though. But I know he's being taken care of.
I'm lucky enough to have a four day weekend now, which is much needed. I'm not used to this work thing...lol. my body is telling me to rest all the time, but with an 8 month son, there is no rest...like they say, no rest for the weary.
I'm sure it will get easier as time goes on. I'm hoping to only be there until spring anyways, so I just need to look at the light at the end of the tunnel!!

The photos

As promised before, here are a couple of the shots from our family photo shoot. Cameron was so cooperative that we got some really awesome pictures. As you can tell from the picture below, he was a very happy little man. He's just over 7 months old here. Growing so fast and he is so handsome!!! This next one is little Cameron with his dad. John clearly didn't take the time to shave, so he looks like a caveman, but aside from that, I think it's an awesome picture. Cameron just loves his dad. His face lights up whenever John comes near him. It's the cutest thing! You never know you can love someone so much until your child is born. He is my heart!
Here's one of our family shots. I don't think Cameron really knew what to think, but he looks happy none the less. I have the best family!!
Things are going pretty good. I start back to work on Saturday which isn't so much fun, but you have to do what is necessary to provide for your family, and this is what I have to do. I do have goals though!
In the next year, I am hoping to start up my own daycare so I can stay home with Cameron and the children to come in the future. But there are things that need to be done first to achieve this goal...
1. John and I have to pay off our debts. This is being started by me going back to work. It will help tremendously.
2. We need to move out of my parent's house and into a place of our own so I will have somewhere to run this daycare.
3. I need kids to watch...haha.

We are hoping for Child #2 in a year or so. We have planned to start trying in about 6 months. That way Cameron will be around 2 when our second child is born. That's what we're aiming for anyways. Mother Nature always has her own agenda, but when the time is right God will provide us with the child and the spirit that has chosen to join our family. I look forward to that day.
I hope you are all well, and that life is treating you wonderfully! Hope to hear from some of you soon!!! Loves!

Photo Shoot

John and I took Cameron to Barrie today for his first photo shoot! He was SO good. I'm still in shock at how well behaved he was. In less than an hour and a half, the photographer had taken 2000 photos. She had no more memory cards, so that was the end! haha. We should get the discs from the shoot in about a week, so I'll put some up here when the time comes. He looked so handsome!!
So the countdown to working is getting closer. In 14 days, I will be at work right now. It's kind of scary. But I know that my babysitter will take good care of Cameron. Sometimes I feel like I'm going back to work just to pay for the sitter though. But my mom will take him some nights too, so that will cost me a lot less.
I'm slowly getting my sale group on Facebook organized so I can hopefully sell some stuff that's kicking around here.
Tomorrow, we're going to open Cameron's savings account. I'm pretty excited. I swear the kid has more money than me, but I suppose since I have none, that it isn't very hard to do...HAHA!
Until next time...

Another Chapter Ended

I sit here slightly depressed. I think it's just hitting me now that I have to go back to work in less than 3 weeks. It really does suck. I look at Cameron, sleeping in his crib, and it hurts, because soon, that won't be me putting him to bed. I'll be at work when Cameron goes to sleep. I'll leave him with the sitter at 3pm and won't see him again til morning. This is not going to be easy, but money-wise, it is something that I have to do right now.
My sister and her husband are in the process of moving in to my mom's house here aswell. Mom's little three bedroom house with 6 adults and soon to be 2 babies. It will definately be an interesting experience. I'm not really sure how we're all going to cope with it, but all we can do is our best at this point I suppose.
Living on your own is just too expensive right now. And I thank my parents for letting John and I live here to offset some costs. We're hoping that we will be able to move in the spring, but we'll have to see how the money situation is then, and if we can save up enough money to make that work right now.
I started a babysitting job in the mornings, so from 6am to 3:30pm, I have an 11 month old and my 7 month old. It is definately interesting and it keeps me very busy, but I'm enjoying it all the same.
Thats all for now I think.
(Tara: are you impressed that I'm back again so soon?? cuz i am!!! haha)
Until next time!!
